June is Here

Winter is my first fave, second Autumn, third Spring and Summer last. The cold weather arrived prematurely as Sydney experienced cold and windy days around 3 weeks ago, so stepping into June didn't seem much of a surprise. I enjoyed those cold days so much as it reminded me of Frisco, strolling around in my warm clothes, hand in hand with my husband. It was all about what connected me to winter as well: romance, fire place, hot chocolate, soups, cuddles, layered clothing and extra cool accessories such as beanies, gloves, stockings, scarves, boots and leg warmers.

My winter accessories

I had been eyeing this since late March, early April and originally costed $89.95. Since I didn't want to spend this much (for saving purposes) I delved in careful thought (as I am not much of an impulse buyer) and decided to wait. The price then fell to $69, $41.75 till it landed on $39.95. I finally bought it at $39.95 as I was happy with the price. Waiting for this shoe to reach $10 would be very very wrong and make me on the 'Too Cheap and Stingy' billboard LOL.

I made it!: I was extremely happy and scored another bargain with snow gear. Though my visit to the snows this month or next is uncertain, I bought a semi -complete snow gear clothing (minus goggles and helmet) that only cost $140 altogether. That alone is the price of a ski jacket, pants or boots for most popular brands. Before the purchase, I had to take a good look and make a pull here and there to quickly analyze the quality of product. I was convinced that it won't melt or tear apart as soon as it touches ice. It also seemed quite durable so I went straight to the pchiiing! I now desperately want to go to the snows!
